I am back in Blue River and would like to thank you again for the Great Accommodation at Fernie Lodging Company and for their hospitality and friendly service - I am happy to recommend any of their propreties. Staying a few days before the Trans Rockies made a big difference and I successfully come in 5th place of 75 riders in my Category.
Fernie is a perfect host town for the Trans Rockies, and I hope to see you again over the winter or next summer.
The 11th Annual TransRockies Challenge is returning to Fernie as the premier summer biking event! For the 11th year Fernie will host the TransRockies—the worlds leading action packed
mountain biking event. From July 28 to 30th, Fernie will host the TR3, the solo 3-day event and the first 3 days of the TR7. Over 300 riders will start in Fernie and ride exciting Fernie single-track. New for 2012 is
Trans Fondo, on Sunday riders can enjoy a single day entry and sample the fun!
