Getting Here by Air
Just one hours drive east of Cranbrook, BC and the Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC), Fernie is easily accessible from most North American cities in half a day of travel or less. Canadian Rockies International Airport has daily flights to and from Calgary International Airport (YYC) and Vancouver International Airport (YVR) on Air Canada, and daily flights to and from Vancouver on Pacific Coastal Airlines.
Both Calgary and Vancouver Airports are International gateways servicing all major airlines and airports. Flight time from Calgary to Cranbrook is approximately 50 minutes, while flight time from Vancouver to Cranbrook is approximately 1.5 hours.
For our cross-border friends, Kalispell in northern Montana is another feasible option, with daily flights from the Glacier Park International Airport to many major US cities. Once in Kalispell, Fernie is less than 2.5 hours drive north, with a border crossing at Roosville, MT.

Fernie is located on the Crowsnest Highway, #3, in southeastern British Columbia. Calgary is just 3½ hours by car to the east and Vancouver is 10 hours west.
