Regular shuttle service from Fernie Alpine Resort to downtown Fernie
By Rebecca Edwards
Fernie is operating a regular shuttle between the resort and downtown this winter – perfect when you want ski-in-ski-out accommodations for your ski vacation at Fernie Alpine Resort but also want to enjoy the après-ski at downtown Fernie’s great bars, restaurants and boutique stores.
The evening shuttle stops outside Timberline Lodge and Snow Creek Lodge, and is also convenient for Fernie Lodging Company’s other ski hill accommodation.
There is a shuttle to downtown every 30 minutes from 6pm-9pm and every hour from 6pm to 1am, extended to 2am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
The daytime shuttle stop is directly below the Timber Express Chair at Fernie Alpine Resort and the shuttle stops around the city of Fernie every 45 minutes from 9am to 11am and 2pm to 5pm.
The shuttle costs $3 each way or $28 for a 10 pack card.
Fernie’s foodie culture was recently featured in the Calgary Herald. Read more about Fernie’s wide selection of restaurants and food specialists here.
The shuttle is operated by Mountain High Shuttle and funded by local stakeholders including the City of Fernie, Fernie Alpine Resort, the Fernie Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Fernie.
