If any of the following policies are not complied with, we reserve the right to immediately evict guests from the property and retain the security deposit (if applicable). There will be no refund on lost accommodation.
IMPORTANT: Please note only the person responsible for the reservation which has provided the credit card at time of booking will be able to do the check in for all occupants of the condo. The credit card provided at time of booking will be required as well as a piece of ID with a picture. Any other guests staying with the lead guest WILL NOT be able to access the condo if the lead guest has not checked in first.
Private homes and condos:
Please note that all properties are privately owned vacation homes.
We ask that you treat the property and its contents with respect.
Check-in starts at 4:00 pm.
Check-out is at 10:00 am.
Rental Age Restriction:
The minimum age requirement for 3+ bedroom units is 30 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The minimum age requirement for 1- or 2-bedroom units is 25 years of age. Guests may be denied check-in if they do not meet the minimum age policy.
The number of guests must be confirmed at the time of booking and any change must be approved prior to arrival. In all cases, the number of guests cannot exceed the pre-determined maximum occupancy of the unit.
Parties, noise and nuisance:
Loud music, noisy behavior, disrespectful actions or behaviour towards other renters and neighbors as well as excessive numbers of vehicles will not be tolerated. A $250 fee plus taxes will apply for each visit of the security guard. Fernie Lodging Company will evict any guests that do not comply upon the second visit of the security guard. There will be no refund of the security deposit or of any unused portion of the stay.
Under no circumstances should furniture or electronic equipment be moved around. Any damage to floors, walls or the furniture will be charged to the guest.
The guest is responsible for any damage resulting but not limited to: any missing inventory, long-distance charges, excessive downloading from the Internet, damages to the property, unauthorized presence of pets, lost keys, electronic equipment configuration changes, unreasonable housekeeping conditions, unreasonable annoyances for neighbours (including any complaint resulting from noise or other disturbance) and any rule or regulation infraction related to the property, and any other charges required to return the property to its original state. For your peace of mind, the first 200$ will be covered with your reservation.
The guest authorizes Fernie Lodging Company to charge to the credit card on file the costs of any additional damage, incidentals and/or applicable fees resulting from the non-compliance with any policy, even if this charge exceeds the security deposit.
Pets are permitted in designated pet-friendly properties. A $55.00 plus fee per pet will be applied to cover additional cleaning costs.
Owners are responsible to clean up after their dog.
Fernie Lodging Company asks that you leave your pets at home as they will be refused entry to a non-designated property. There will be a $500 fine, charged to the credit card on file, for any pets or evidence of pets found in non-designated pet-friendly units.
All properties are non-smoking. Fernie Lodging Company asks that you respect this rule for the safety and comfort of all guests. A $500.00 additional housekeeping fee will be automatically imposed to your credit card for any violation.
Additional equipment such as highchairs or cribs are available for rent. Such equipment must be reserved. Delivery and pick-up charges will apply. Please ask the reservation agent for more information regarding fees at time of booking.
Your property will be fully cleaned and prepared for your arrival with fresh sheets, towels and amenities. For guests staying 8 nights or longer, a complimentary mid stay clean and linen change will be schedule. Additional housekeeping services, including daily maid service, can be arranged for an additional fee and subject to availability.
Adequate quantities of towels will be provided by the number of people booked. Delivery of extra towels is available, upon request and additional cost.
Each complex has designated waste disposal area. It is the responsibility of the guest to remove the garbage and place in bear proof bins prior to departure. Failure to remove garbage can result in additional fee.
Deposits & CancellationsRavello 10%
To receive a refund on an existing reservation the guest must cancel 14 days or more prior to arrival. For qualifying reservations guest will be charge a 10% administrative fee based on the total amount of the reservation. If reservation is canceled within 14 days of arrival the reservation will be non-refundable. If guest decides to leave early after check-in, the unused nights will be non-refundable
A 10% deposit is due at time of reservation and the remaining balance is due 7 days prior to arrival
Full payment of any activities (ski lift tickets, golf, massages, etc.) is due at the time of booking.
A one-time reservation fee of $25.00 plus tax will be charged at the time of booking and applied to the first night of each booking per property.
*Note: Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover any unforeseen events.
Guests will be required to complete a self check-in link where they will sign a damage waiver prior to receiving keys/access to their reserved property. Fernie Lodging Company will process a pre-authorization of up to $1500.00 depending on reserved property on a valid credit card at check-in. Guest(s) will either be required to sign a credit card authorization slip for the security deposit or enter their personal PIN for CHIP enabled credit cards. Cheques or cash will not be accepted.
Fernie Lodging Company must receive completed pre-arrival forms with requested vehicle information, the number of people staying in the property and credit card information a minimum of 2 hours before arrival.
In the event of tax alterations by a government agency, Fernie Lodging Company reserves the absolute right to collect the revised tax without prior notice.
To ensure your utmost luxury and comfort level in our condos, we highly recommend that the sofa beds are not used as an alternative bedding option. Some of our condos are equipped with fully functional sofa beds with the purpose to accommodate, if need be, the younger traveller such as small children or youth.
As sofa beds in general offer minimal comfortability we strongly recommend that you speak with one of our experienced Sales agents to determine your accommodation needs.
Swimming pools and hot tubs (available with selected properties only):
Fernie Lodging Company ensures that all their private/common hot tubs are maintained regularly. Guests use pool/hot tubs at their own risk. The management company for the complex maintains communal hot tubs. If you experience any problems, please call our office as soon as possible. Occasionally, pool/hot tubs may need to be shut down for maintenance. Such maintenance is unavoidable and is to protect the health of users. Fernie Lodging Company will not reimburse or give compensation to guest in the event of such maintenance closures.
Every unit has assigned parking. Most properties accommodate parking for only one or two vehicles. Please ensure that you are parked in the correct stall assigned to your unit. Parking elsewhere may lead to your vehicle being towed at your own expense. If someone has incorrectly occupied your assigned stall, please use a Visitor stall and contact our office immediately.
Please note that all complexes or homes are privately owned and managed and Fernie Lodging Company cannot guarantee that your car will not be towed if parking procedures are not followed.
Limit of Liability:
A confirmed reservation by e-mail constitutes notice to guests of these exclusionary terms and conditions. Guests are deemed to have read and agreed to the foregoing. The Guest booking this accommodation is responsible for making all members of the party aware of these terms, failing which the said Guest will be held liable to and shall save harmless and indemnify the Property Owner and Fernie Lodging Company, for any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising as a result thereof. Should the property become uninhabitable or unavailable, Manager reserves the right to substitute another property for the one which has been booked, with every attempt made to provide a property or properties of similar or better quality. A confirmed reservation transmitted by e-mail constitutes notice to Guests of these terms and the email notice is deemed to have been read and agreed to the foregoing and to have irrevocably authorized to irrevocably authorized Fernie Lodging Company accordingly.
Prices for accommodation and packages are subject to change without notice and reservations, without notice and reservations are based on availability. The information, products and services published on this website may include inaccuracies or errors, including pricing errors. In the event that accommodation or packages are listed or provided to us at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or other error in pricing information, Fernie Lodging Company Inc. expressly reserves the right to correct any pricing errors on our website and/or on pending reservations made under an incorrect price. In such event, if available, Fernie Lodging Company will offer you the opportunity to keep your pending reservation at the correct price or Fernie Lodging Company will cancel your pending reservation without penalty.
Fernie Lodging Company will not refund and is not liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature to guests resulting from events beyond the Company’s control. Examples include, but are not limited to, weather conditions or acts of nature, snow conditions, lift closures, road closures, and flight delays. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
The booking guest and all members of the said guest’s party (the “Guests”) agree to conform to all notices, rules and instructions in and about the home. Guests are responsible for their own conduct and that oy any invitees. The Manager reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse or interrupt occupancy in the event of any non-fulfillment or breach of rental conditions. Neither the Property Owner or the Manager shall be held liable for any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising out of any theft, accident, injury, death, damage, delay, inconvenience or distress, whether or not arising by the negligence of the Property Owner or Manager and the guest hereby waive any and all such liability.
