Ski with Santa & Photos
Enjoy holiday cheer as Fernie Alpine Resort welcomes Santa to the slopes!
Come out and ski with Santa! Santa will be on the slopes from 10am to 12pm. Then come down to the base area and get your picture taken with Santa from 12pm to 2pm. Don’t worry about bringing a camera, Santa’s helpers will take the photo and email it to you! PHOTOS ARE FREE and the event is open to all ages!!

Burton Snowboard Demo
The Burton Snowboard Demo team will be on site to let you try the latest and greatest in Burton Snowboard Boards and Bindings!!
Want to know what Nug Reduction is all about? How about Flying V or Frostbite edges?? The experts from Burton will be on site to let you try the gear and find out what’s the perfect setup for you!!
The demo is FREE of charge, however a credit card is required as a deposit to take out the equipment.

Family New Years Eve Activities
Come out and celebrate the new year with the entire family! Join us from 6pm-9pm for a variety of FREE family activities in the base area. Activities that night include a fire pit complete with hot chocolate at the base of the Mighty Moose, family scavenger hunt and New Years Arts & Crafts. The night wraps up with a family new years count down around the fire at 9pm. Activities are free of charge so bring the family out and ring in 2012 at Fernie Alpine Resort.

NEW this year, Fernie Alpine Resort is proud to offer a New Years Eve Family Dinner and Show!
Families are welcome to come out and enjoy a delicious buffet dinner in the daylodge follwed by their very own private MAGIC SHOW!! While you enjoy your dinner our magician will wander around and entertain tables with a variety of close up magic tricks. The show continues after dinner with a full 45min Magic Show and the night culminates by having you join us outside beside the fire for our family countdown at 9pm! It will be a fantastic night out for families and the ultimate way to ring in 2012.
Tickets are NOW AVAILABLE at Guest Services! (limited number available) Out of town guests can purchase tickets over the phone by contacting Guest Services at 250-423-4655.
Schedule
6:30pm: Buffet Dinner Start
6:45pm – 7:45pm: Magician – Roaming and table magic with the guests.
8:00pm – 8:45pm: Full Magic Show (on daylodge stage)
8:45pm: Event finish – Families can then move outside to the fire pit for the family countdown at 9pm!
Dinner & Show Costs:
$49.95 Per Adult/Youth (13yrs and older)
$29.95 Per Child (6yrs to 12yrs)
$9.95 Per Child (3yrs to 5yrs)
Children 2 and under are FREE.
Non alcoholic drinks are included in the prices. Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.
